It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn B. (Polly) Stephens of Lake Wales, Florida, born in Sumner, Georgia, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bridges and Janie Bridges; her husband Elmer L. Stephens; and her brothers, William Bridges, Jr. and Julian Bridges.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Johnson (Kary) of Hollywood, Elmer Stephens, Jr. (Sandy) of Lake Wales and Bob Stephens (Diane) of Lake Wales; and her grandchildren, Christa Hollingshead (Marty) of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Kelly Croom (Keith) of Fayetteville and Summer Walker (Jeremy) of Babson Park. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
