She was predeceased by: her husband Whit Singleton; and her siblings, Joe Messer, Robert Messer, Jerry Messer and Helen Medlock.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Akin of Texas, Brenda Grulke (Randy) of Lake Wales and Mike Singleton (Tammy) of Lake Wales; and her siblings, Phyllis Batson (Lamar) of Lake Wales, Chris Messer of Lake Wales and Mark Messer (Evelyn) of Lovelady, TX. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
