It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Almicna Morales Diaz of Lake Wales, Florida, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Morales and Francisca Diaz; and her brother Luis Morales. She is survived by: her husband Julio Acevedo Matias; her sons, Julio Acevedo (Caroline) of Lake Wales, Amil Alvarez (Jennifer) of Auburndale, Omar Alvarez (Olga) of Puerto Rico, Eric Alvarez (Maria) of Puerto Rico and Ionel Alvarez (Mirna) of Delaware; and her siblings, Irma Morales-Diaz of Puerto Rico, Eliezer Morales-Diaz of Puerto Rico and Mario Morales-Diaz of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
