He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Terry and Ethel Carolyn Wones (Slagle); his wife Sharon A. "Lambie" (Wilson); his siblings, Max Wones and Opal Bartles; and his grandson Cody Wones.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria "Tori" Jones (Wayne) of Lake Placid, FL, Melanie Smith (Butch) of Sidney and Terry Wones of Houston. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
