We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2022, at the age of 72, Venita Hansen of Lake Placid, Florida, born in Miami, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert O'Shields and MaryAnn O'Shields (Swinney); and her brother Robert "Bobby" O'Shields. She is survived by: her brother Pete O'Shields (Nancy) of Crestview, FL.; her husband Darrell L. Hansen; her children, Dale Hansen (Karen) of Barstow, CA, Tara Rogers of Lake Placid, FL, Jana Easton (Dale) of Davenport, FL, Ryan Hansen (Jennifer) of Sarasota, FL and Cory Hansen (Nicole) of Lake Placid, FL.; her grandchildren, Jordan, Mikala, Taylor, Lexa, Robbie, Skylar, Mackenzee, Zain, Madisyn, Darrell, Rylynn and Jalynn; and her aunt Carole Wartella (Patricia "Trissy" Griffin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
