He was predeceased by: his parents, DuWayne Schirm and Lillian Schirm (Meyer); his wife Marcia Schirm (Wiese); and his sister Jodi Schirm. He is survived by: his children, Reggie Schirm (Kaila Boothroy), Rhonda Lorenz (Dave) and Rocky Timmer (Patty) of Dubuque, Iowa; his grandchildren, Corey Lorenz, Krystle Lorenz and Nicole Kremer (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Lincoln, Wade, Maliah and Messiah; and his sisters, Rita Blake (Steve) of Waterloo, Dixie Dethlefs of Waterloo and Lori Wilken of Waterloo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
