It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Matheny (Lake Placid, Florida), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on May 8, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Robert and Patrick. She is survived by: her parents, Mary Newell (Cummings) and Wilkins Newell; her husband John E. "Jack"; her children, Maureen Matheny-Petrilli, David Matheny, Richard Matheny (Lilly) and John Matheny (Cyndi); and her friends, Paul Wetzel, Robert Wetzel and Sue North. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
