He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Bruno and Edward Gerken; his brother Gordon Gerken; and his wife Sharon Wittemeyer. He is survived by: his brother Thomas Gerken (Ginger); and his children, Suzanne Beers (Paul), Richard Gerken and Jennifer Gerken.
