It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Margaret Ritter (Lake Placid, Florida), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 10, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent William Yochim; her grandparents, Amos Yochim "Pa" and Margaret Yochim; and also Joan. She is survived by: her parent Mildred Yochim; her uncle Edward Yochim; her half-brother Frank Schmidt; her brother-in-law Kenneth J. Ritter; her spouse Lawrence J. Ritter; her children, David J. Ritter (Gayle), James J. Ritter and Mary Ritter Faller (Patrick); her grandchildren, Richard L. Ritter (Skylar), Christopher Ritter (Victoria), Katherine Faller and Patrick H. Faller, Jr. (Amber); her great grandchild Ivy Ritter; and also, Joseph J. Ritter and Ethel Swanson Ritter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
