It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Donald Speakman Sr. in Orchid, Florida, born in Hoagland, Indiana,
James Donald Speakman, Sr., formerly of Fort Wayne, died on August 23, 2023, at Orchid Cove rehabilitation center, in Lake Placid, Florida, from cardiac arrest after a recent accidental fall.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Rolla E. and Mary J. Speakman; his siblings, Mabel Sunderland, Della Hitchcock, Goldie Reynolds, Adeline "Tillie" Busche, Mary "Pat", Edna "Jean" Goldner and William A. Speakman; and his former wife Sandy Speakman (Herron).
He is survived by : his son-in-law Tony Reinhart of Loudon, Tennessee.; his wife Cecelia A Speakman of Lake Placid, Florida; his brother Dwight "Bud" Speakman (Corkie) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his step-daughter Deb Reinhart (Tony) of Loudon, Tennessee; and his children, James Speakman of Churubusco, Cindi Speakman of Harlan and Patti Shain of Harlan, Indiana..
