He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Wood (Lardie) and Stanley W. Wood; his former wife Patrica L. Wood; and his siblings, Betty, Nell, Barb, Donna, John, Stanley, George and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ballard Johnson "Peppermint Patti"; his children, Timothy Wood, Michele Vaughn (Patrick), Susan Patterson (Randy), Dawn Veldhuis (Michael), Nancy Madagame and Thomas Johnson; and his brother Tom Wood.
