He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Stanhope and Florence Huyck (Schavey); his wife Wilma Millard; his daughter-in-law Diane Huyck; and his brother-in-law Larry Mapes.
He is survived by: his close friend Shelly Bushman; his significant other Shelly Bushman; his sister Katherine Mapes of Sunfield, MI; his children, Mark Huyck (Rita Patrick) of Pentwater, MI, Carol Burch (Mike) of Battle Creek, MI, Jennifer Walker (Ed) of Pentwater, MI and Elizabeth Huyck (Tracy Haifley) of Yuma, AZ; his grandchildren, Chad Walker (Kasey) of Bark River, MI, Kelsey Burch of Raleigh, N. C., Kaili Melucci (Aaron) of Grand Rapids, MI and Erin White (Alex) of Perrysburg, OH; and his great grandchildren, Hans, Easton Walker, Molly, Cameron Melucci and Sonnet White. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
