Allis of Lake Placid, Florida, born in Middletown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 87, on November 3, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis A. Guiton and Anna Guiton (McInerney); and her siblings, Mae Poch, Helen Taylor, Paul, Ray, Walt and Leo Guiton.
She is survived by: her husband William L. Allis (Bill); her daughters, Carmen Cortright (Carl) and Denise Komor (Joe) of Smyrna, GA; her grandson Carl Cortright Jr. (Tiffany) of Canton, NC.; her brother Gerald; and her sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Guiton of Flemington, NJ and Loretta Guiton (Blanche Guiton) of Montrose, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home (232 S Main St, Montrose, PA 18801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (17 Cottage St, Friendsville, PA 18818).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN.
