Dolores Joan Riel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Joan Riel of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dolores leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Dolores may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Leo and Phyllis May Mattos; and her husband George E. Riel. She is survived by: her children, Lori Riel of Wildwood, FL and Lynn Crehan (Michael) of Raynham, MA; her sister Valerie Montgomery of Ocklawaha, FL; and her grandchildren, Ashly DeAngelis, Kyle Crehan and Adilyn Crehan. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel (410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL 34785). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Page-Theus Chapel (410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL 34785).
