He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barry E Martel, Joseph and Donna Gaouette. He is survived by: his parents, Danielle Martel and Rodney Gaouette; his stepparents, Scott Casey and Christine Gaouette; his grandmother Theresa Martel; his siblings, Wolfgang Hinst, Madison Gaouette, Alexis Politis (Hunter) and Kaley Smith; his aunts and uncles, Mike Martel (Sharon), Max Gaouette, Michelle Pecen (Dave) and Michelle Kelly; his cousins, Graham Crothers, Jessica Simmons, Madison Martel, Megan Martel, Kaylie Klein, Kendall Kelly (Tyler), Max Gaouette, Jennifer Marks, Allen McCoy, Judy Marks (James) and Michael Marks; and his friend Scott Harger (Pam).

Instead of flowers, the family suggests making a memorial donation to the Florida Wildlife Federation or a similar organization in his memory.
