He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry and Mildred; his father-in-law Vern Bartlett; his brother-in-law Derek Hadley; his nephew-in-law Darren Friedl; his nieces, Beth Rene Hadley and Danelle Rae Jackson; and his niece-in-law Manuela Silveira.

He is survived by: his child Sulawesi; his wife Jill; his children, Jaci [Dan] Scheidemantle, Ella, Dylan, Micah [Katy] Goring, Gracy, Rocky and Donna; his siblings, Judy [John] Snyder, Jill Hadley, Jacque [Kenneth] Finney, Joetta [Jack] Jackson and Lynn Goring; his mother-in-law Joyce Bartlett; and his siblings-in-law, Jan [Ray] Friedl, Jayne [Jason] Robinson and Jerry Bartlett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
