He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Dever and Marie K. Dever (Gaudreau) of Quincy, MA.; and his nephew John Jorgensen. He is survived by: his wife Diane Rose Dever of Longwood, FL; his children, Carolyn Dever (Paul Young) of Hanover, NH and Mark Dever (Valérie Kindt) of Washington, DC.; his grandchildren, Amber Mohrmann Lewis (Joben Lewis), Noah Dever Young and Samuel Kindt Dever; his great grandchild Seth Josiah Lewis; his aunt Geraldine Mayer; his siblings, Jeanne-Marie Ryan (John), Anne Dever-McEvoy, Martha Dever and Brian Dever (Alice Braunstein); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Rose Jorgensen (Niels) and Tim Rose (Karen). He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
