Evah G. Briggs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 97, Evah G. Briggs of Lake Mary, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Evah departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Evah. Though Evah may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Mertens and Winnifred Mertens; her husband Lyman Briggs; and her siblings, Glenn Mertens, Herman Mertens, Lois G. Siwicki and Don Mertens.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Briggs (Christine).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hopcroft Funeral Home (31145 John R Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071).
