She was predeceased by: her parents, Melzie Mae and Joseph Milton Hicks; and her husband James Robert Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda "Lindy" Hayes and Sonya Brauer; her grandchildren, Morgan Hayes, Shannon Brauer and Dustin Brauer (Sydni Brauer); her great grandchild Braxton Hayes; her sister Willie Jo Roberson; and her daughter Brenda Gail Young.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Faiths Memorial Park (1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home (994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701).
