The memory of Basil S. Kasimis MD. of Lake Mary, Florida, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Basil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Basil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Katerina Markantonis; his daughters, Anna Patounakis (George Patounakis) of Longwood, Florida and Elizabeth'Jenny'Manis (Jeffrey Manis) of Randolph; and his grandchildren, Katerina, Eleni, Joseph and Emily.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in his memory.
