Ruth D. Thorn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth D. Thorn of Lake Helen, Florida, born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Thorn; and her son John William Thorn. She is survived by: her children, James LeRoy Thorn (Cynthia) of Lake Helen, Laura N. Thorn Harlow of DeLand and Carrie Ann Thorn Blackwelder (Jeff) of Pierson; and her grandchildren, Carmen Thorn, John Thorn, Jr., Christi Cohen, Marie Covington, James Thorn, Michelle Thorn, Sean Thorn and Brian Blackwelder. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler or Blake Memorial Baptist Church.
