He was predeceased by: his parents, Chandler and Fannie. He is survived by: his son Michael (Kim); his close friend Kathy Martin; his grandchildren, Trace, William and Luca; and his sisters, Ann Marie DeBenedetto and Annette Di Meola. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
