Doris Drechsler Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Drechsler in Lake Helen, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Brian Drechsler; her close friend John Wolf; the father of her children Lee Drechsler; her siblings, Phyllis Hudson, Shirley Urquhart, Caroline Meek, Chuck Rowell, Willie Rowell and Kevin Rowell; and her sisters-in-law, Mardette Moran and Gladys Bellingham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Laird (Bob Matteson), Kay Drechsler (Rick Ramsdell), Carol Catalano (Buck), Linda Waasdorp (Craig) and Jane Willis (Pete); her sisters, Sonja Wagemaker and Karen Cunnagin; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Rowell and Gail Rowell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home (4025 Main St, Williamson, NY 14589). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Lake Church (5823 Walworth Rd, Ontario, NY 14519).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Doris to the American Legion Post 127, 109 Cassadaga Rd, Lake Helen, FL 32744 or your favorite charity.
