It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Engel (Lake Helen, Florida), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. Engel and Kathryn Boles Engel; and his sister Mary Joy. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Bauer); his children, David John Engel (Jill) of Lititz, PA, Christine Russo (Bob) of Haddonfield, NJ, Jeff Engel (Janice) of New Smyrna Beach and Erica Engel of Lake Helen; and his siblings, Frederick Engel (Karen) of Sanford, Donna Engel Butler (Tom) of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Engel Edvardsen (John) of Sanford and Mary Engel Lovewell of Sanford. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 4000 S. Atlantic Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.
