He was predeceased by: his parents, Sim Kirby and Mae Bullard Kirby; his wife Verona Lee Kirby; and his siblings, Robert K. Kirby, Anna Mae Rodgers and Josephine A. LeClerc.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wilma Jean Bringger (Rick) and Sandie Lee Nobles; his brothers, James A. Kirby, Harry F. Kirby, Sim H. Kirby, Jr. and Clifford J. Kirby; his grandchildren, Brandon Cole Nobles, Ridge Roman Bringger, Ashley Lauren Jones (Robby) and Madeline Amelia Mabile (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Gordon Jones and Aidan Nobles.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the Robert H. Jenkins Veterans Domiciliary Home in Lake City.
