She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Coccie; her parents, Joseph Piampi and Ann Piampi (Kowalick); her former husband Thomas John; her sons, Thomas John and Gary John; and her stepson Joseph Coccie.

She is survived by: her children, Michael John (Donna) and Ruth Anne John; and her stepson Jeffery Coccie (Andrea). She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
