He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Newton Connell and Thelma Howard Connell; his wife Jacquelyn Marie "Jackie" Gaines Connell; and his siblings, Catherine Rowe, Mamie Giddens and William Connell.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Connell (Jackie Curry) of Lake City, FL; his sister-in-law Daisy Connell of Ochlocknee, FL; and his close friend Bonnie Page of Lake City, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home (1218 Adel Hwy, Nashville, GA 31639).
