She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Taylor and Cora Taylor; her husband Denny B. Young; her son John E. Young; and her siblings, Robert Taylor and Phyllis Taylor Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Johnson (Hammack) of Columbia, SC and Pamela Sue Ligato; her grandchildren, Lauren Nevels (Joshua Nevels), Jennifer Johnson Conyers and Jack Johnson; her great grandchildren, Vaughn Nevels, Zachary Johnson, Tyler Conyers and Lorelei Nevels; her brother Roger Taylor (Nancy) of Dunbar; and her child Bardie.
