He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. "Bill" Sweat and Sadie Scarborough Sweat; his significant other Ryder; his wife Barbara; his daughters, Amy and Brandie; and his sisters, Sylvia and Sonya.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Sweat (Toni) and Ashley Martin (Artie); and his siblings, Sharon Greene and Julian "Ray" Sweat. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lake City Moose Lodge (624 NE Williams St, Lake City, FL 32055).
