It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Irene Smith of Lake City, Florida, who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Carrie Mae Buckholts; her husband Calvin; her daughter Diane Edenfield; and her siblings, Kathleen Preston, Willie, Jimmy and Jay Buckholts.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Higgs (Ed); her grandson Randy Higgs (Cherisse); her great grandchildren, Cade and Ryder Higgs; her daughter Louise Garcia (Ernest); her grandchildren, Jay Wilcox (Shay), Thomas (Kim), Andrew Garcia and Amanda Wilcox; her great grandchildren, Kayla Knight (Jamie) and Justin Wilcox; her great great grandchild Bryson Knight; her son-in-law Kenneth Edenfield; her granddaughters, Kendra Victoria and Rachel Tomalis (David); her great grandchildren, Haven Tomalis and Isabella Victoria; and her brothers, Harold Buckholts (Nita), Joel Buckholts and Wade Buckholts.
