With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Marie McCarthy of Lake City, Florida, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack McCarthy; her daughter Kathleen McCarthy Bishop (Sonny); her sisters, Mary Joyce and Elizabeth Whalen; and her parents, Gertrude Lynch and Thomas Lynch.
She is survived by: her children, Jack McCarthy (Kim) of Fort White, FL, Michael McCarthy (Barbara) of Oak Ridge, NJ and Diane McCarthy Lee of Tallahassee, FL; and her siblings, Anne Ohlmeyer and Tom Lynch. She is also survived by extended family which includes numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haven Hospice House of Lake City in Kathleen's memory.
