He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lafayette "Fate" DuPree and Mildred Louise Ellis DuPree; and his brother Donald "Don" DuPree. He is survived by: his wife Faye Delores Coleman DuPree; and his children, Joseph "Jody" DuPree, Jr. (Shannon) of Lake City, FL, Donald "Donny" DuPree (Missy) of Lake City, FL, Ginger Brown (Jesse) of Lake City, FL, Michelle Forde (Randy) of Yulee, FL, Lynelle Mullins (James) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Renee Morgan (Nathan) of Lake City, FL.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church (388 SE Baya Dr, Lake City, FL 32025).
