He is survived by: his wife Jackie Norris Parnell of Lake City; his daughters, Belinda "B. B." Parnell (Jacob) of Lake City, Catherine "Cathy" Ott (Rodney) of Lake City and Amber Pitts (Chris) of Lake City; his siblings, Charlie Parnell of Lake City, Gail Johns of Lake City, Sara Parnell (Dwayne) of Lake City, Katie Greene (R. A.) of Lake City and Beadie Noton (Tom) of Lake City; and his grandchildren, Cecilia Daugherty of Indiana, Brooklyn Pitts of Lake City, Alana Ott of Lake City, Brandon Pitts of Lake City, Rodney Ott, Jr. of Lake City, Eli Ott of Lake City, Blair Rose Pitts of Lake City and Boyd Pitts of Lake City.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Cemetery.
