He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Blackmon and Lila Blackmon; and his sister Annetta Russ. He is survived by: his wife Rose Blackmon; his children, Shawna, John, Destiny, Amy and Dylan Blackmon; his siblings, William "Billy" Blackmon (Coral) of Wellborn, Cliff Blackmon of Lake City, Wayne Blackmon (Caterina) of Polk County, Ralph Blackmon of Polk County, Doris Blackmon of Naples, Patty Blackmon of Polk County and Sandy Blackmon of Polk County; his stepmother Liz Blackmon of Polk County; and his sister-in-law Debbie Sorrel of Polk County. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
