She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Randolph Herndon and Eunice Parker Herndon; her husband Russell; her grandson Hunter Bailey; and her sister Joann.

She is survived by: her sons, Rusty (Trish) of Lake City, Scott (Emily) of Lake City, Kevin (Hillary) of Lake City and Dusty (Carrie) of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Remington of Lake City, Tara Bailey of Lake City, Bethany Bailey Herron (Ashton) of Lake City, Lauren Bailey Breman (Gavin) of Lake City, Josh of Lake City, Aiden of Lake City, Brooke of Lake City, Cooper Bailey of Lake City, Ava and Brielle Bailey of Gainesville; her great grandchildren, Hunter and Hazel Herron; and her siblings, Jack Herndon, Jr. (Becky) and Ruth Moore (Gator) of Lake City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Methodist Church of Lake City or to Gideons International.
