She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Starkey and Ruby Lawson Starkey; and her siblings, Jack Starkey, Herbert Starkey, Kenneth Starkey, Anna Scott, Phyllis Brown and Mary Hogston.
She is survived by: her husband Ricky James of Lake City; her sons, Rova Thorne (Jennifer) of Kentucky and Michael Thorne (Kimberly) of Kentucky; and her siblings, Roger Starkey (Linda) of Jackson, GA and Frances Murray of California.
