She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Battles; her grandmother Lydia Goodman; the father of her children John Thomas Walker; her daughter Holly McIntosh; and her siblings, James Gilbert Goodman, James Goodman and Annie Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Garrett, James Woodard Jr., Carolyn Jiles and Linda Walker; and her grandchildren, Darryl Clark, Celestine Pearson, David Clark, Cetressia Jordan, Seaven Moses, Johnny Woodard, Celestine Woodard, James Woodard, Yolonda Littles, Kristina Jiles Skelton, Quinton John Donaldson, Iris Jeanell Walker, Sarell McIntosh, Jontrel McIntosh and Jeremiah McIntosh. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
