She was predeceased by: her parents, William McCormick Barton and Fannie Lee Green Barton; her brother Rodney Craig Barton; and her nephew Nicholas Carter. She is survived by: her siblings, Elsie M. Carter (Bill) of Lake City and John Barton (Cecile) of Miami. She is also survived by Ten nieces & nephews, nine great nieces & nephews, and one great-great niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
