She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Rigney and Alma Myers Rigney; her husbands, J. D. Cowsert and Kenneth Warren Rogers; her son Richard E. Downey; her grandson Jeremy Palmer; her brothers, Homer and Donald Rigney; and her daughters-in-law, Susan Cowsert and Melody Downey.
She is survived by: her children, Herman L. Cowsert, Clarence R. Harney of Bull Shoals, AR, Daniel A. Downey (Jonita) and Brenda L. Palmer; her sisters, Donna and Teresa; and her stepmother Rose Rigney. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bradenton Gospel Tabernacle (1218 7th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
