She was predeceased by: her parents, William Raiford and Gertrude Hendrix Hunter; her husband James "Bones" Martin Thomas; and her siblings, Judith Hunter Salyers and William Willie Ray Hunter, Jr. (Barbara).
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Thomas Sickmon (Paul) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Knox Sickmon of Tampa, FL and Savanah Lee Sickmon of North Hollywood, CA.; her niece Aimee Cadle (Ronnie) of Lake City, FL; and her nephews, John Brethour, Jr. of Easton, PA, Milo Scott Thomas (Gina) and Ponte.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Cemetery.
