He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gene Griffis and Mary Clemmons (Clyde); his wife Mary Louise Taylor Griffis; his children, John Adam Griffis (Nikki) of Lake Butler and Miranda Wentz (David) of Idaho; his stepson Richard Lykins (Jamie); his grandchildren, Avery Griffis, Ethan Griffis, John Adam Griffis Jr., Summer Lewis, Elizabeth Lewis, Candance Clifton, Waylan Wentz and Conrad Lykins; his siblings, Elizabeth Waters (Richard) of Lake Butler and Timmy Griffis; and his sister-in-law Cheryl of Alabama. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
