He was predeceased by: his parents, Seeber Johns and Nina Lee Croft Johns. He is survived by: his sisters, Teresa Johns, Mary Lee O'Steen and Sue Stalnaker (David); his nephews, Johnny O'Steen, Joey O'Steen (Frankie), Chris Stalnaker (Amy) and Chad Stalnaker (Cailyn); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler O'Steen, Jadee O'Steen, Jake O'Steen, Paislee Stalnaker and Sawyer Stalnaker; and his close friend Gail Sheppard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (155 NW 1st St, Lake Butler, FL 32054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Mt. Zion/Swift Creek Cemetery (15050 W State Road 100, Lake Butler, FL 32054).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or First Christian Church, Lake Butler.
