He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Barnett and Ora Barnett; his son Roger Jr.; his grandson D. J.; and his great grandchild Saylor Reese.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jackie McKinney, Pearl Woodruff and Ronnie Barnett; the mother of his children Rosanna Barnett; and his children, Kim Prose (Marvin), Regina Seay (Marvin), Rodney Barnett (Kim), Faith Barnett, Hope Seay (Eddie), Charity Clemons (David) and Ezra Barnett. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one soon to be great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
