He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Andrews Bruner; his daughter Rachel Waters; his parents, H. A. Bruner and Jane Chance Bruner; and his brother Dale Bruner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donnell Bruner of California, John Bruner of Jacksonville and Mary Morgan of Hickory Flat; his grandchildren, Brittney Alfonso of Lake Butler, Richard Waters of Lake Butler and Ryan Waters of Rome; and his great grandchildren, Katie, Rachel and Cason.
