He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake L. Varnes and Louise Molder Varnes. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Parrish Varnes; and his siblings, Carl Varnes (Nita) of Lake Butler, FL, Ed Varnes (Theresa) of Jacksonville, FL and Sherry Varnes Jenkins (Joe) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
