He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Freeman Roberts and Martha Williams Roberts; his spouses, Beverly Ann Stanton and Beverly Stanton Roberts; his children, Pam Roberts Parrish (Milton) of Lake Butler, Tim Roberts (Amy), Karen Poirier of Gainesville and Jennifer Newman (Jeremy) of Lake Butler; his sister Sandra Wade (Rusty) of Lake Butler; and his mothers-in-law, Mary Lou Stanton and Lucy May Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to either Haven Hospice of Lake City or Hugh's favorite charity, St Jude Children's Hospital.
