She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ellis Smith, Sr.; her parents, William Norman and Della Lang Norman; and her son Robert E. Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, William Turner Smith, Carol Lynne Thomas and Dale Smith. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
