He was predeceased by: his wife Alva Iona Padgett; his children, Samuel Moody of Lake Butler, FL, Doug Thomas of Shellman, GA, Carol Wehling of Starke, FL and Susan "Susie" Ray of Lake Butler, FL; his grandchildren, Sam Thomas of Shellman, GA, Tammy Moody Grammer of Lake Butler and Brian Vessel of Tampa, FL.; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Watson of Starke, FL and Jacob Smith.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy D. Werre (Susie) of Live Oak, FL; his son-in-law Earl W. Ray of Lake Butler; and his grandchildren, Keith Moody of Gainesville, FL, Travis Werre of Jacksonville, FL, Justin Werre (Beth-Ann) of Fleming Island, FL, James "Lesley" Trowell (Mary Ann) of Sopchoppy, FL, Troy Ray (Tracy), Jason Ray of Lake Butler, FL., Deborah Watson (Leland), Vanessa Thomas Milliron (Ted) of Shellman, GA, Kelly Ray Crews (Clifford) and Angie Ray Smith of Lake Butler, FL.. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
