It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Joyce Prins (Lake Butler, Florida), born in Worthington, Minnesota, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Licht and Hulda Brinkhous Licht; and her brothers, Ardell, Stanley and Loyed Lee Licht.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Prins; her children, Tammy Ryan (Barry), Lourie Albanese, Daniel Prins and Scott Prins (Kim); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Joseph, Kristen (Blake), Stephen (Alexis), Emily, Kenna, Max and Kelsey; and her great grandchildren, Avery and Austin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Archer-Milton Funeral Home (55 N Lake Ave, Lake Butler, FL 32054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Elzey Chapel Cemetery (13372 SW 52nd St, Lake Butler, FL 32054). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
