He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Simpkin and Mary Elizabeth LaRue. He is survived by: his wife Libby LaRue of Lake Alfred, Florida; and his children, Elizabeth Ann Turner (Quince) of Winter Haven, Michelle Herrick of Lake Alfred, Janet LaRue of Louisiana, Nadine LaRue of Louisiana, Ronnie LaRue, Jr. of Brandon, Robert Morrison of Riverview and Rodney LaRue of Colorado.
